The Recreational Director is essentially the “face” of the recreational division of the Fusion soccer program.
The director is not a FSC board member, but does work directly with the board to complete, update and communicate the general overall standings of the program.
As director, the person who holds this position has responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:
Being an informative link to all persons interested in registering for the spring and fall seasons of the program, as well as, the contact for the coaches and parents of the players who are currently registered in the program.
The director processes the registration for all the players and coaches, procures and holds training sessions for coaches and additional training nights for players, makes the team formations, coordinates the practice and game fields and the scheduling for both. Also, organizes the ordering and distribution of team shirts and trophies, management of coaches and player’s information and updates throughout the seasons, regulates fee collection status and the organization and execution of all items relating to each season’s tournament day event.
In summary, any and all aspects and communications directly pertaining to the recreational program throughout the entire year as advised and outlined by the board of directors of FSC is implemented by the director’s position.
For most, the director tries to ensure that all the events and activities associated with the Fusion recreational program are performed in the most positive way possible for everyone involved.
